Why We Exist

Our Mission & Values

Loving Hearts exists to serve the Seeley Lake community through generosity, compassion, and practical support for those who need it most.

Our Mission

Loving Hearts is a volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to giving back directly to the Seeley Lake community. Since our inception, we have reinvested more than half a million dollars back into our community through assistance programs, partnerships, and emergency support.

Every dollar we make goes back into Seeley Lake — no one is paid, and every effort is powered by volunteers.

How We Serve

Affordable Giving Programs

Our giving includes more than low weekly prices — we also offer $3 and $1 bag sales and occasional FREE days to ensure that everyone in our community can access what they need.

Benevolence & Essential Needs

We operate a benevolence program that helps community members with essentials such as heat, water, and other necessities when times are tough.

Supporting Local Partners

The Senior Center, Sparrows Vine, and Meals on Wheels are part of our yearly giving. These organizations receive items they need to continue serving others.

Investing in Our Youth

We support the elementary school Christmas gift program, annual bingo fundraiser, and help fund new backpacks and school supplies. We also sponsor community support efforts for Seeley Swan High School.

Scholarships & Opportunity

Our yearly fashion show and tip jar help fund college and trade school scholarships for local youth. We awarded $6,000 this year.

Toys for the Community

Our annual toy sale is open to everyone in the community and offers toys for $5 or less, helping families make the holidays brighter.

Emergency Support

We show up for neighbors affected by fires or flooding by helping connect people with needed items and support.

Supporting Wildland Firefighters

When forest fire workers are in our area and need essentials like clothing, sleeping bags, or other basic items we offer, we help however we can.

Our Values

Compassion

We lead with kindness and care, meeting people with dignity and respect.

Community First

All money made is used to benefit our community — always.

Service

We are volunteer-run, and we believe real change comes from showing up and helping.

Integrity

We steward resources responsibly and prioritize transparency in how we give.

Generosity

We give in practical ways — from essentials to opportunities for youth and families.

Resilience

When hardship hits our community, we respond with support, care, and action.
